On Wednesday, MS NOW announced that Sandi Cohen will be the executive producer for Peter Alexander’s upcoming morning news show.
Cohen, who starts her new assignment on Monday, June 1, will be based in New York City, with Alexander anchoring out of Washington, D.C. She has been charged with leading the launch of the flagship 11 a.m. ET news program and building its editorial vision and format from the ground up.
In a note to staffers, Greg Kordick, MS NOW’s senior vice president of programming, said Cohen will partner closely with Alexander and the dayside team in delivering “the kind of compelling, timely, and authoritative news coverage that is synonymous with Peter.”

Prior to this appointment, Cohen was most recently a senior broadcast producer for CNN’s Laura Coates Live. She had been with the network for more than a decade and had served in several leadership production positions while working on programs such as New Day and CNN Tonight.
Cohen was also part of CNN’s Emmy Award–winning teams recognized for coverage of the war in Ukraine and the protests following George Floyd’s death.
At MS NOW, Cohen will report to Casey Dolan, vice president, dayside programming, with the network saying Alexander’s show will launch later in the summer.
