Liquid I.V. Weaves Spider-Man Into Its Growing Entertainment Strategy

Liquid I.V. is jumping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Unilever-owned brand is capitalizing on the hype around the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day with product placements in the film, a TV commercial, and a line of co-branded products.

The fourth installment of the Spider-Man series picks up where Spider-Man: No Way Home left off, after the film ended with Peter Parker erased from everyone’s memory — including his best friend’s, Ned Leeds.

Liquid I.V. is leaning into that unfinished storyline with an ad starring Jacob Batalon, who plays Leeds. The 30-second TV spot shows Batalon walking down a New York sidewalk on a hot summer day.
