Olivier Francois, the exec behind some of the most ambitious and surprising Super Bowl ads of the last two decades, has stepped down from his dual posts of CEO of Fiat and CMO at Stellantis, ending one of the automotive industry’s longest marketing careers.
Arnaud Belloni, who spent 16 years running marketing for Stellantis’ European nameplates before leaving for Renault, will return and assume Francois’ duties.
Stellantis has 14 brands parked in its corporate garage, though its best-known American nameplates are Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, and Jeep.
While Francois’ departure from his official post closes a long association with the automaker, he will stay on to support the company as a strategic advisor, according to a statement issued by Stellantis.
