Spectrum is parting ways with its senior marketing leadership and eliminating the chief commercial officer role, ADWEEK has learned.

Chief operating officer Nick Jeffrey sent a memo to staff on Monday, obtained by ADWEEK, that outlines a new organizational structure for the Internet service provider. Under the new structure, chief marketing officer Sharon Peters and chief commercial officer Adam Ray will depart at the end of the year.

“I am increasingly convinced that our unmatched scale in broadband internet, our distinctive video assets, and attractive mobile offer are market advantages. However, in recent years we have failed to marshal those advantages into a winning strategy and have underperformed the markets, and our own expectations,” Jeffrey wrote.
