Academy Award-winning actress Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos are continuing their long-running creative collaboration, this time for Squarespace’s Super Bowl 60 ad.

The ad marks Stone’s first Super Bowl appearance.

Squarespace’s teaser for the campaign, titled “Unavailable,” offers a mysterious, emotional glimpse at its upcoming spot.

Shot in black-and-white, the 15-second spot zooms in on Stone, who is in tears.

Accompanying posters, also in black-and-white, build on the campaign’s cinematic tone and sense of intrigue.

Squarespace’s Super Bowl 60 ad will air between the first and second quarters of the game on Feb. 8. This year marks the website-building and hosting service’s 12th appearance as a Super Bowl advertiser.

The two also worked together on 2024’s Kinds of Kindness, 2023’s Poor Things, and 2018’s The Favourite. In 2024, Stone won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Bella Baxter in Poor Things.

Lanthimos is also directing a Super Bowl ad this year for Grubhub, a newcomer to the Big Game.

Squarespace is a Super Bowl mainstay, with more than a decade of in-game ads. Its previous ads have featured celebrities such as Zendaya, Adam Driver, Martin Scorsese, and most recently, Irish actor and The Banshees of Inisherin star Barry Keoghan.
