Top of the Ticker: In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, Fox News launched a new promo campaign series honoring the people, sacrifices, and defining moments that shaped the nation.

Helmed by various Fox News personalities, including primetime hosts like Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters, and Laura Ingraham, these short, cinematic tributes showcase the American spirit and feature stories of bravery, invention, sacrifice, and perseverance.

One promo features 6 p.m. ET host Bret Baier revisiting the heroism and global stakes of D-Day, while another features Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum telling the origin story behind “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Fox News is also using the promo campaign as a symbolic tie-in to its 30th-anniversary celebration this year.

Also honoring America’s 250th is Fox Business Network, which revealed that Kentucky’s Four Branches Bourbon, Ohio’s Marilyn’s Candy Wall, and North Carolina’s TGU Home Solutions were the recipients of its small business contest. Announced during Monday’s edition of the Big Money Show, each winner received $25,000 and will be featured on an episode of Fox Business’s small-businesses special.

Sticking with Fox News, the network announced high school students Amanda Parker and Tess Sonne as the recipients of the seventh annual Dr. Charles Krauthammer Memorial Scholarship.

During Monday night’s edition of Special Report, Daniel Krauthammer, the son of Dr. Charles Krauthammer, spoke to Baier about the significance of the award, saying, “This scholarship, it really celebrates so much of my father’s memory, his love for learning. And we’re really excited to congratulate Amanda and Tess.”

Live from China: NBC Nightly News’ Tom Llamas is taking his evening broadcast and streaming news show, Top Story with Tom Llamas, on the road, anchoring live from Beijing during President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping‘s high-stakes summit the week of May 12.

Chloe Arensberg, NBC News’ Washington bureau chief, announced the news to staffers on Thursday, saying, “Garrett has been an essential voice in our White House coverage, bringing sharp reporting, deep sourcing, and an authoritative presence to some of the most consequential stories of our time.” Garrett was previously the network’s senior Capitol Hill correspondent and began his NBC News career as a desk assistant in 2007.
