As head of activations for independent media agency Noble People, Mike McHale creates experiences that get people out of their homes. As the vintage radio enthusiast and audio engineer behind Radio Blue, McHale modernizes the centuries-old experience of enjoying music at home.
A lifelong audiophile, McHale has rebuilt hundreds of radio cabinets since 2020 in an effort to elevate the listening experience—and restore a bit of our humanity in the process.
“I really feel music is both healing and transportative,” McHale said. “You could sit there after a day of work and listen to something and change your mood, or hear a song and remember when you were in high school and that song played at a dance.”
