American Eagle Taps Lamine Yamal to Reach a New Generation of Fans at the World Cup

With the FIFA World Cup 2026 starting this week, American Eagle is debuting its first campaign with soccer star Lamine Yamal, connecting the brand’s denim roots to a new generation of fans.

The clothing brand has launched “Ready for the World,” its first campaign since announcing a five-year partnership with Yamal in January. A new spot features the soccer star in signature American Eagle denim and will run across digital, social media, out-of-home, CTV, and Yamal’s social channels.

At just 18, Yamal is regarded as one of the best players in the world and a fashion icon among Gen Z.
