This week, Miroma Group acquired a majority stake in the marketing firm for an undisclosed sum. ARM was previously owned by Los Angeles private equity firm Shamrock Capital, which also owns ADWEEK.
The move is Miroma Group’s most significant U.S. move since founding in 2002. The deal came together after Miroma CEO Marc Boyan, who built an outsized outdoor media business in a space the major holdcos have long undervalued, saw a parallel opportunity in audio. For Fox, who spent years at social and digital creative agency Laundry Service helping Fortune 100 brands crack Instagram and TikTok, the deal is less about new ownership than new infrastructure.
