As the daughter of Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. Bernice King inherited her life’s work as a social justice advocate. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t adapted the message and methods to the modern world.

At ADWEEK’s Brandweek conference in Atlanta, King sat down with ADWEEK CEO Will Lee to explain how she’s keeping her parents’ legacy alive through her work as CEO of The King Center in Atlanta, the nonprofit founded by her mother to carry on her father’s work of nonviolent social change.

“I often tell people that my mother built the largest social change brand, I believe, in the world that continues to impact societies across our world,” King said.
