Pandemic darling Zoom is instigating a workplace rebellion against overly complicated software, with some help from Saturday Night Live’s (SNL) Colin Jost and Bowen Yang.

“Zoom Ahead,” the company’s biggest global campaign to date, marks a creative pivot from wooing IT decision-makers to speaking directly to the 300 million-plus people who use Zoom every day.

Running through 2026, Zoom’s first push under CMO Kim Storin does some careful reframing: pitching it as more than a meetings app, and instead as an intuitive, all-in-one work platform that brings AI tools together with chat, calls, document sharing, and more.

“It’s about bringing the swagger back for this unique brand that is so ubiquitous in people’s lives,” Storin told ADWEEK.
