Top of the Ticker: CNN and CNBC are venturing into new territory as the two news outlets have entered into individual partnership agreements with Kalshi, a prediction platform. CNN’s partnership with Kalshi was announced on Tuesday, with its data being used across the network’s programming, led by CNN Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten. In addition, the network will launch a new Kalshi-powered real-time news ticker running during segments featuring Kalshi data. Also, the news network’s newsroom, data, and production teams can access Kalshi’s data for developing key storylines and visuals.
