MSNBC, which rebranded as MS NOW, and CNN recorded month-to-month gains in total viewers and the Adults 25-54 demo during primetime and total day for the month of November.
The off-year election coverage brought viewers back to these networks; however, this month’s numbers pale in comparison to those from a year ago when Donald Trump won the presidential election for the second time.
Even when accounting for viewers fleeing MS NOW and CNN right after the election was called, November 2024 was still a better month for the cable news networks, including Fox News.
