Here Are the Cable News Ratings for November 2025

CNN

During primetime in November, CNN had 556,000 total viewers and 100,000 A25-54 viewers. When looking at total day, the network had 429,000 total viewers and 70,000 demo viewers.

Compared to the previous month, CNN was up +10% in total viewers and +30% in the demo during primetime. It also grew by +11% in total viewers and +21% in the demo during total day. 

When looking at its performance to the same month in 2024 during primetime, it was down -23% in total viewers and -49% in the demo. In total day, CNN lost viewers by -11% and -35% in total viewers and the demo, respectively. 

CNN finished in the No. 5 position, up one spot, during primetime and in fourth place, up from fifth, in total day in total viewers. It was No. 9 in the demo during primetime, up from No. 17, and finished in fourth place, up from eighth, during total day.

Looking at the November performance of the other news nets:

  • NewsNation – The network’s primetime viewership averaged 104,000 and 14,000 viewers, respectively. Cuomo remains the top program in total viewers and A25-54 with 184,000 and 24,000 viewers, respectively. Notably, the week of November 17 was the program’s second-best week ever in the demo, averaging 38,000 viewers.
  • Fox Business – The network continued to finish ahead of CNBC during business day, market hours, and total day (M-F) in total viewers. Varney & Co. was the top show in total viewers with 284,000, while The Claman Countdown and Making Money with Charles Payne tied for first in the demo with 14,000 viewers. 
  • CNBC – It continued to be the No. 1 business network in the demo during business day, market hours, and total day. Squawk on the Street was the most-watched program in total viewers and the A25-54 demo with 224,000 and 44,000 viewers, respectively.  
  • Newsmax – Rob Schmitt Tonight was the net’s top show in total viewers and the demo with 333,000 and 27,000 viewers, respectively.

PROGRAMMING

  • Fox News – The Five was the most-watched program in Total Viewers (3.628 million at 5 p.m. ET). It was also in first place in the advertiser-coveted A25-54 demo, with 293,000 viewers.
  • MS NOW – Its most-watched show in total viewers and the demo continued to be The Rachel Maddow Show (1.823 million and 166,000 viewers, respectively) at 9 p.m. ET on Mondays. 
  • CNN – For the third month in a row, The Arena with Kasie Hunt at 4 p.m. ET was the network’s top performer in total viewers, with 712,000. In the A25-54 demo, The Lead with Jake Tapper at 5 p.m. ET was in first place with 111,000 viewers.
