Mashrabov acknowledged the slowdowns to ADWEEK, attributing them in part to automated accounts overloading the system.
“[The bots] send like 10 requests over 30 seconds in five different languages–very suspicious activity,” he said.
The company has since added safeguards and says performance has stabilized as of last week, with most outputs now generated in under a minute.
“Based on our internal metrics, our discords and like other feedback platforms, we see that it really stabilized starting last Thursday,” he added.
