Smith relocated from London to New York as part of that push, joining an 18-person (and growing) team based in Tribeca. Born Social is part of the Croud Group, which acquired the agency in 2022 to integrate creative and performance capabilities more closely.

Born Social is currently in strategy and early production for Nikon’s first phase of work. Smith said the broader ambition is to help redefine what brand building looks like for legacy companies competing in a social and creator-driven market.
