Richard Lui broke into overnight programming at 2:09 a.m. The co-hosts of The Weekend, Jonathan Capehart, Eugene Daniels, and Jackie Alemany, picked up breaking news coverage at 6 a.m., with Ali Velshi continuing rolling coverage at 10 a.m. ET.

Peter Alexander anchored an NBC News special report from 4 a.m. to 6:45 a.m., followed by anchoring Saturday Today with Laura Jarrett. Tom Llamas, who anchored special reports throughout the day on Saturday, also anchored a special edition of NBC Nightly News on Saturday and Sunday evening.

The network was live with wall-to-wall coverage starting at 7 a.m., led by anchor Hena Doba and White House correspondent Kellie Meyer. Anna Kooiman was on from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by Connell McShane from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and anchor Leland Vittert from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. 

Telemundo
The network aired special coverage throughout the morning, with Julio Vaqueiro anchoring the network’s newscast on Saturday night from Colombia, as well as a two-hour news special from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
