He added that Pharma carries additional regulatory and operational nuance compared with other categories, making an integration like this for Indivior more complex.
“It’s more technically nuanced,” James said. “If you think about the approvals process for pharma, the regulatory environment from a talent point of view, you’ve got to make sure that everybody really understands those nuances and differences.”
The Indivior win bolsters Havas’ momentum in the healthcare sector, following a year in which the agency said it secured 20 new media clients, four of which were in the pharma and health, including Collegium Pharmaceutical.
“It’s one of our highest growth areas, and continues to be,” James said.
