Meet Omnicom’s New Leadership Team

Omnicom Group has finalised its $13.5 billion acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG) and announced the leadership team that will be steering the mega-agency into its next era.

Led by John Wren as chief executive (CEO), the new Omnicom has been organised into seven core divisions.

Most of these units will be led by seasoned Omnicom execs. Two former IPG bosses, Dana Maiman and Jacki Kelley, will join them, representing two of only three women in the new 15-strong senior team.

Philippe Krakowsky and Daryl Simm

Role: Co-president and COO, Omnicom Group

As announced, ex-IPG CEO Krakowsky will remain as president and co-chief operating officer (COO), alongside Daryl Simm.

Florian Adamski

Role: CEO, Omnicom Media (including OMD, Initiative, UM, PHD, Hearts & Science, Mediahub, OMD, PHD, and Acxiom)

Omnicom veteran Adamski will continue in his role as CEO of Omnicom Media Group (OMG). The unit now adds former IPG-owned agencies Initiative and UM. Combined clients include Apple, AT&T, T-Mobile, Lego, McDonald’s, and PepsiCo. Before the IPG acquisition, Omnicom’s media arm handled $35 billion in annual billings.
