
On Monday, Nielsen announced an expanded partnership with Lionsgate, measuring a combination of a FAST channel and a digital network for the first time.
The deal, which starts in December, involves measuring the MovieSphere FAST channel and MovieSphere Gold over-the-air digital affiliate network, available in close to 130 local TV markets.
According to the companies, Lionsgate is set to gain critical market intelligence, enabling it to better understand its audiences, strategically partner with affiliates, and accelerate its channel’s expansion and viewership.
“Our leading streaming technology makes us uniquely capable of providing FAST channel measurement for companies like Lionsgate that are strategically expanding their offerings across different channels,” said Amilcar Perez, chief revenue officer at Nielsen.
