ADWEEK has reached out to the Danish pharma giant to confirm whether its buy is a national one, but at the time of publication, it had not replied.
For now, it’s unclear from the teasers which product Novo Nordisk, which also manufactures HRT drugs, among others, will market during the Big Game.
Recently, Novo Nordisk has been pushing beyond injectable GLP-1 with the launch of Rybelsus, a once-daily pill. Alongside this shift, the company has been sharpening its positioning in the weight loss and obesity treatment space.
In January, it launched an Apple-inspired push, “There’s Only One Ozempic,” riffing on the tech giant’s 2006 “Get a Mac” ads starring actors Justin Long and John Hodgman.
