In the broader industry, LiveRamp is collaborating with industry trade groups to help advance the development of a new class of technical standards that will dictate the rules of agentic advertising across the open web. In November, the company donated its User Context Protocol— an open standard that establishes rules for how agents exchange signals in digital ad environments—to the Interactive Advertising Bureau, which is hard at work building a framework for agentic ad auctions.
LiveRamp reported fourth-quarter earnings early last month, tallying revenues of $212 million, up 9% from the same period last year. Shares of the company are down almost 7% since this time last year.
