Signs of a turnaround are afoot at WPP Media, which topped the global media new business rankings during the first quarter of 2026, according to data from COMvergence.

The firm’s quarterly Global New Business Barometer, released on Thursday, found that WPP generated $1.5 billion in new client billings in the quarter, thanks to major account wins like Jaguar Land Rover, Estée Lauder, and SC Johnson North America.

Omnicom Media Group (OMG) ranked second, bringing in $1 billion in new wins, including Delta Air Lines and Dyson, and a further $1 billion in retentions. The figure combines results from the group’s agency networks—Initiative, Hearts & Science, Mediahub, OMD, PHD, and UM—following its acquisition of Interpublic Group.
