More than half (52%) of Americans don’t know what a 529 plan is, the tax-advantaged savings accounts that parents can use to save for their kids college educations, a recent survey from Edward Jones/Morning Consult found.

Cress is the new chief marketing officer of Babylist, the infant registry with 10 million users, including more than half of America’s first-time parents.
