You could say Ashley Fields is a smart cookie. You could also say her product is, too.

At ADWEEK’s Brandweek on Tuesday, Fields, co-founder of Fields Good and daughter of Debbi Fields (founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies), explained how her relatively new company brought a functional cookie brand to the market to early acclaim.

“We’re actually trying to shift people’s perception of what a healthy cookie could taste like,” Fields told ADWEEK executive editor Alison Weissbrot on stage.

The brand identified an opening in the market, with Fields creating her own recipes for cookies that offer a wide range of benefits, such as focus and protein, without compromising on taste or ingredients like sugar and flour.
