From an expanded holiday Sphere partnership to a live event for The Vampire Lestat, AMC is looking to bring some bite to this year’s upfront.
AMC is fresh off a corporate name change, switching from AMC Networks to AMC Global Media. And with that global-facing presence comes new ways for advertisers to get involved with the company’s programming around the world, as well as new ways for the company to reach consumers.
Among those new ways, Kim Kelleher, president and chief commercial officer, AMC Global Media, announced from AMC’s upfront stage in New York on Wednesday that the company is partnering up with Meta, with several of its streaming apps coming to Meta Quest, starting with AMC+ later this year.
