The revolving door of chief marketing officer hires and reshuffles keeps spinning.

We’ve rounded up the U.S. and global marketing leadership moves you need to know about for the week ending July 24.

– Behr has elevated longtime marketer Andy Lopez to CMO, broadening his remit to include product strategy, marketing, and innovation. Lopez’s promotion comes amid a major digital transformation for the brand, which recently launched AI tools designed to help tackle one of DIYers’ biggest issues: color paralysis.

Allyson Witherspoon is leaving her role as Nissan CMO after 12 years with the business to lead marketing for General MotorsBuick and GMC. “I look forward to helping write the next chapter for two iconic American brands,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “Elevating the experiences, technologies and vehicles that inspire confidence, enable adventure and deliver premium capability in everything we do. Let’s goooooo!”

–  Andres Baptista is now CMO of Johnson Outdoors. He was most recently vp and GM of deep cleaning and consumables for homecare brand Bissell. He shared the news on LinkedIn, saying he’ll be working across Minn Kota, Humminbird, Old Town, and Jetboil and more.

Kate Spade New York has appointed Allison Badea as CMO, tasked with “reigniting the magic” of the brand. She joins from L’Oréal, where she most recently served as global svp of brand experience for Maybelline New York.

Magic Spoon has welcomed Sarah Barnes as CMO. She brings experience from Kraft Heinz and RXBar, and most recently, Chosen Foods.
