After 4,000 people attended its Cannes Lions beach takeover in 2025, Canva’s space will be three times bigger this year.
Having opened its doors at La Plage du Martinez last year, the Canva Creative Cabana is expanding to Vega La Plage, opposite The Carlton Hotel.
From June 22–26, the design platform will host 30 points of programming and an additional 12 fringe events, including a Pride party.
Jimmy Knowles, Canva’s global head of experiential marketing, designed the activation again this year.
He told ADWEEK that Canva “severely underestimated” how many visitors it would draw in 2025. “We learned quickly that the space was too small for the appetite,” he said.
