“The traditional agency model is on a collision course with an AI world,” Henrichs said. “We’ve been transitioning our commercial models for a few years now, including building systems and solutions that go beyond time-and-materials work.”
DeMuth said that Doner has already sold some AI tools developed internally to clients and is piloting them on active accounts.
He added that both agencies have already started to partner on projects and pitches. “It validated very quickly that this model lets us compete at a higher level,” he said.
