Over the weekend, pandemonium spread online over supposed changes to Disney+’s subscriber plans. And you didn’t need ears as big as Mickey’s to hear that the company was supposedly adding ads to all its streaming tiers.

However, that news turned out to be overblown, and ADWEEK has received clarity on what’s actually happening with Disney+: Mainly, the streamer is just simplifying the existing language in its user agreements.

The news that Disney was supposedly adding ads to all its streaming plans, even its ad-free tiers, came after an updated subscriber agreement for Disney+ customers in Europe.

In an email to customers, Disney stated that all plans “may include promotional content, sponsorships, and advertisements” before and after playback.
