“The Gentlemen’s Serve” introduces the beer into the hotly anticipated Sept. 3 season 2 debut of the Guy Ritchie series on Netflix. At its center is a 90-second hero film in which James’ character, Eddie Horniman, attends a pub auction and bids $200,000 on a bull—only to be outbid by Beckham.
As the room looks on nervously, Horniman sends Beckham a perfectly poured Stella, a power play that ultimately prompts Beckham to revoke his bid.
