Adtech company Permutive has appointed veteran media executive Eileen Kiernan to its board of directors as it looks to expand its business with the agencies and advertisers.
Historically a technology provider for publishers, the company is repositioning as a platform that serves advertisers as well. Kiernan will advise CEO and co-founder Joe Root on how to navigate that shift.
“It is a really interesting time for this company to be pivoting in the way that it is, and I can help it breakthrough in the way it deserves to,” Kiernan said.
There is a “sense of urgency” behind Permutive’s new direction, she added.
