Expanded distribution: Fox Weather is now available on SiriusXM. Fox News Media’s FAST channel is available on channel 799 for listeners across North America via the SiriusXM app and in vehicles equipped with SiriusXM with 360L. In addition, during major weather events, Fox Weather will be offered as free-to-air public service for anyone with access to a SiriusXM-enabled radio or the SiriusXM app.
New show: Bloomberg is launching a weekly one-hour show, Bloomberg Money, airing Fridays from 12-1 p.m. ET, anchored by Tom Keene and Scralet Fu. Bloomberg is also launching a vertical for Bloomberg Money, which includes a digital hub highlighting the team’s enterprise reporting, practical guides, explainers and utility tools.
Podcast update: NBC News’ Keith Morrison will helm a new Dateline NBC podcast, Five Miles From Home, premiering Monday, June 8. The six-episode series explores the mysterious disappearance of Micaelo Costanzo, a beloved high school teenager in a small town in the Nevada desert.
Over at Noticias Telemundo, anchor Julio Vaqueiro will be the host of a new weekly podcast, Un Día a La Vez. Vaqueiro’s podcast, which will be released every Wednesday, will feature in-depth interviews with Latinos reshaping culture, politics, sports and business. Diego Luna, the Mexican actor-director, was the podcast’s first guest.
Celebrating America’s 250th: PBS News is ready to celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial with an hour-long special broadcast of Washington Week with The Atlantic: The Next 250–Considering America’s Future. Airing at 8 p.m. local time on June 12, The Atlantic editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg will moderate a conversation with panelists in front of a live audience.
Revolving Door: CNN has brought on Jacob Ward as an on-air contributor. He was most recently a reporter-in-residence at The Omidyar Network, where he investigated the effects of innovations and how some have concentrated power and eliminated accountability in the modern world.
