“More than 50% of our volume from fulfillment centers is coming from automation, and that translates into lower shipping costs,” John David Rainey, chief financial officer for Walmart, told investors. “By continuing to lower our cost of delivery, that helps customers have the ability to have the value that they want with the convenience that they expect.”
